Our commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income

Gambling with us is a form of entertainment, not a way to make money or to solve money problems. Our games use random outcomes and the mathematics of each game favours the house over time, so no system, pattern or staking plan makes play profitable in the long run. The money you put through your account should be money you can comfortably afford to lose.

Deciding your budget before you open a game, rather than during play, is the most useful habit there is. A few simple rules keep most players in control:

  • Set a figure you are willing to spend each week and stop when you reach it, win or lose.
  • Never gamble with money set aside for rent, bills, food or repayments, and never with borrowed money.
  • Do not chase losses. Staking more to win back what has gone is how small losses become large ones.
  • Keep track of time as well as money; long unbroken sessions make it harder to judge what you are spending.
  • Do not gamble to escape stress or low mood, or while under the influence of alcohol.

Our services are for adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence and verify the identity, age and address of account holders, and we may ask for documents at any point. If we find that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it, void any winnings and return the balance of genuine deposits.

18+ only

It is an offence to gamble, or to attempt to gamble, under the age of 18, and an offence to allow a person under 18 to gamble.

The tools in your account and how to switch them on

The tools below sit in the safer gambling area of your account, which you can reach from the cashier or the account menu once you are signed in. You never need to explain why you are using them, and using them has no effect on your promotions or withdrawals.

Deposit limits

A deposit limit caps what you can add to your account over a set period, with the periods available shown in your account. Once the limit is reached, further deposits are declined until the period rolls over. A reduction takes effect straight away; a request to raise or remove a limit is held for the cooling-off period shown in your account, and you can cancel it during that time.

Loss and session limits

A loss limit caps how much you can lose, net of wins, in a given period. A session limit caps how long a single period of play can last, and you are signed out when you reach it. Both follow the same rules on reductions and increases as deposit limits.

Time-outs

A time-out is a short break. For the length you choose from the options in your account, you cannot deposit or play, although you can still sign in to see your balance and withdraw funds. A time-out cannot be lifted early; it ends on its own.

Self-exclusion

Self-exclusion is a longer and firmer step. We close your account to play and deposits for the minimum period you choose, take you off our marketing lists and do not accept a new account from you while it runs. When the period ends, the exclusion stays in place until you ask us to lift it, and a further cooling-off period applies before you can play again.

Reality checks

A reality check is an on-screen reminder showing how long you have been playing and what you have staked and won in the session. You choose how often it appears and can stop or continue when it does.

Switching a tool on

  1. Sign in and open the safer gambling area from the cashier or account menu.
  2. Choose the tool you want, along with the amount or period that suits you.
  3. Confirm the change. Reductions, time-outs and self-exclusion take effect immediately.
  4. Check the confirmation we send to the e-mail address on your account.
  5. If you cannot find a tool, or would rather we set it for you, use live chat or write to responsiblegaming@casino-trada.co.uk.

If limits are not enough

If you have set limits and find yourself trying to work around them, treat that as a signal rather than an inconvenience. A time-out or self-exclusion is the stronger option, and our team can apply it for you.

Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem

Difficulties with gambling develop gradually and are easier to address early. Go through the points below honestly; they are the kind of questions support services ask.

  • You play for longer or spend more than you planned, often without noticing.
  • You have borrowed money, sold possessions or missed payments to fund gambling.
  • You stake more after a loss in order to win it back quickly.
  • You hide how much you gamble from family, friends or colleagues.
  • Gambling is affecting your sleep, work, studies or relationships.
  • You feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down or stop.
  • You gamble to cope with stress, anxiety or low mood.

If several of these sound familiar, set a time-out or self-exclusion now and speak to one of the organisations below. None of them charge for help, and you do not need a diagnosis or a referral to get in touch.

Where to get help

Free and confidential support is available across the UK. We can apply limits and exclusions to your account with us, but we are not a counselling service, so please also contact one of the following:

  • GambleAware - a charity that funds and signposts free treatment across Great Britain and publishes self-assessment tools and plain-English advice for players and for anyone worried about someone else.
  • GamCare - provides free counselling, group support and treatment for people affected by gambling, in person and online, and operates the National Gambling Helpline.
  • GamStop - a free self-exclusion scheme that blocks you from gambling websites and apps licensed in Great Britain, including ours, for a period you choose, covering operators you have never used.
  • The National Gambling Helpline - free, confidential help available at any hour by telephone and live chat, for players and for friends and family who need to talk something through.

If gambling has left you with debts, free money advice services can help you deal with creditors. Any of the organisations above can point you to one.

Protecting minors

We take active steps to keep minors out. Registration requires age and identity verification, we carry out checks on the details and documents you give us, and we may re-check at any time and suspend an account while we do. An account held by a person under 18 is closed, any winnings are void and genuine deposits are returned.

If people under 18 share your device, a few precautions matter:

  • Use parental control or filtering software to block gambling sites on shared computers, tablets and phones.
  • Keep your password and payment details private, and do not let a browser or app save them.
  • Sign out fully when you finish playing and lock the device.
  • Set up a separate user profile for anyone else who uses it.

If you believe someone under 18 has used your account, tell us through live chat or at support@casino-trada.co.uk and we will act on it.
